ABS-CF
A carbon-fibre reinforced ABS thermoplastic used for rigid, dimensionally stable and heat-resistant FDM components requiring a professional matte surface.

Material Overview
ABS-CF is a carbon-fibre reinforced acrylonitrile butadiene styrene thermoplastic developed for rigid, lightweight and dimensionally stable FDM components. The ABS base provides mechanical durability and useful heat resistance, while the carbon-fibre reinforcement increases stiffness, improves dimensional control and creates a uniform matte appearance. Compared with unfilled ABS, suitable ABS-CF grades can produce lower warping and more stable geometry during controlled manufacturing. Final performance depends on the carbon-fibre content, selected formulation, geometry, wall design, print orientation, operating environment and production parameters.

Material Selection Note
ABS-CF is suitable where stiffness, dimensional stability, heat resistance and a matte surface are more important than high flexibility or maximum impact ductility. Carbon fibre does not improve every mechanical property equally, and printed components remain direction-dependent. ABS-CF should also not be treated as equivalent to ASA-CF for long-term outdoor exposure.
