PETG Family
A durable and versatile FDM thermoplastic family used for functional parts requiring good toughness, dimensional stability and resistance to moisture and common chemicals.

Material Overview
The PETG family covers glycol-modified PET-based FDM thermoplastics. PETG combines reliable processing with good toughness, layer adhesion and chemical resistance. Compared with standard PLA, PETG is generally less brittle and provides improved resistance to heat and demanding service conditions. It is commonly selected for functional housings, brackets, manufacturing aids and durable components. Final performance depends on the selected grade, part geometry, print orientation, environmental exposure and production parameters.

Material Selection Note
PETG is suitable where greater toughness, chemical resistance and temperature resistance are required than standard PLA can normally provide. It is not a universal replacement for higher-temperature engineering thermoplastics.
